Due to the amber weather warnings, we have made the decision to close The WAG House and Community Shed for the next two days, to help keep everyone safe.

Please don’t worry if you receive support from WAG. Our other services, including community shopping and prescription collections, will continue as usual unless we contact you directly.

We will review things on Thursday and decide then whether the Community Shed will be open on Friday.

🧵 Can you sew? ✂️

We're looking for people who can help us with a special community project.
Wiltshire Search and Rescue have donated a number of old jackets that we'd love to transform into useful items such as tote bags, drawstring bags, dog treat pouches and more.

Not only will this help give the jackets a new lease of life, but the items will be sold to raise money for both Wiltshire Search and Rescue and WAG, supporting two local charities that make a real difference in our communities.

Whether you enjoy using a sewing machine or prefer hand sewing, we'd love to hear from you. This is a community project, so there will be lots of different ways to get involved, whatever your experience or skill level.

It's a great opportunity to use your sewing skills, meet like-minded people and be part of something creative that helps others.

It’s a gentle, relaxed session for over 60’s — but more than anything, it’s about having a go, having a laugh, staying active, feeling good, and meeting new people

(Seated exercises 10:30am – 11:30am)

The exercises run for an hour, and the rest of the time is yours to sit, have a drink, chat, and get to know people

You’re welcome to stay for the full session or just come along for the exercises — whatever feels right for you, It doesn’t cost anything to come along.

Due to the high temperatures, we have made the decision to close the Community Shed and Creative Space on Friday 26th.

These upstairs spaces can become very hot, so we feel this is the most sensible decision for everyone.

Other WAG services will continue as usual unless we contact you directly.

Sit and Fit is closed tomorrow

Due to the extreme heat warning, we have made the decision to close Sit and Fit tomorrow.

We don’t want anyone travelling in the heat or becoming unwell during the session, it's just going to be too hot.

Please stay cool, drink plenty, and take care of yourselves.

We will be back as normal next Tuesday.
