We have been made aware that Daniel Graham Brandle, also known as Daniel Olley (DOB: 13/06/1976), has reportedly been seen using dating platforms again, including MeetMe.

We have received information that Daniel Graham Brandle, also known as Daniel Olley, has reportedly been seen using dating platforms again, with MeetMe being one site identified so far.

The photograph below is being shared to assist with identification and to help members of the public stay safe online.

⚠️ Please remain vigilant if you encounter this individual on dating sites or social media.

Information previously reported to our campaign and the relevant authorities indicates that Daniel may:

• Attempt to build trust and relationships very quickly.
• Use charm, sympathy, or personal stories to gain confidence.
• Claim to work for or have connections within the motor trade.
• Claim to work for Copart, the AA, or own/manage a garage.
• Target women through dating platforms and social media.

🚔 If you see a profile you believe belongs to Daniel:

• Report the profile directly to the dating platform.
• Take screenshots of any profile or communication.
• Preserve any relevant information.
• Contact police if you believe the information may assist ongoing enquiries.
• Message Stop Romance Fraud UK in confidence so information can be passed to the appropriate authorities.

Many of the warning signs, behaviours, and associated names discussed on this page have been reported by multiple victims independently of one another. Information received is reviewed carefully and, where appropriate, passed directly to police to assist with ongoing enquiries.

• Romance fraud can affect anyone.
• Fraudsters often use charm, sympathy, and false promises to gain trust.
• Never feel pressured to send money, transfer funds, take out credit, or hand over vehicles or property.
• If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and seek advice.

🚔 Police have informed us that Daniel Graham Brandle, also known as Daniel Olley, is wanted in connection with active warrants and has been reported as being in breach of probation conditions.

We want to reassure all victims, followers and supporters of Stop Romance Fraud UK that our campaign is based on victim statements, evidence provided to us, and information that has been passed directly to police. We do not post “rage bait,” nor do we create false allegations for attention. Our priority has always been safeguarding vulnerable people, supporting victims, and raising awareness responsibly and legally.

We also want to clarify that we did not publicly identify any individual in our original post beyond the reference to “M. Tyler,” a name that has been independently mentioned by multiple victims and reported to police on numerous occasions. Any person publicly associating themselves with that name has done so by their own choice.

We understand emotions are high, but dismissing victims’ experiences as lies or online drama is deeply hurtful to those who have suffered genuine financial and emotional devastation. Our campaign will continue to focus on facts, victim support, awareness, and cooperation with police — not online arguments or abuse.

We fully understand that public awareness campaigns may attract criticism. However, we stand by the importance of giving victims a voice, encouraging reporting, and ensuring concerns are passed responsibly to the relevant authorities rather than ignored or silenced.

Most importantly, our thoughts remain with every victim and family affected by fraud, manipulation and deception. That is, and always will be, the reason this campaign exists.

If you have been affected by romance fraud, coercive behaviour, or financial deception, please know support is available. We encourage anyone with concerns to contact Victim Support, Action Fraud, police, or consider making a Clare’s Law application if you feel unsafe or unsure about a partner.
