FRIDAY YOUTH CLUB!

Burscough Youth Club is already off to an incredible start, and the energy in the room has been nothing short of amazing.

From the moment young people walk through the door, there’s been a real buzz - laughter, conversation, new friendships forming, and a genuine sense that this is a space where they can just be themselves. It’s exactly what a youth club should feel like: safe, welcoming, fun, and full of opportunity.

What’s been especially powerful to see already is the positive impact it’s having in such a short space of time. Young people are getting involved in activities, trying things they might never have done before, building confidence, and starting to feel a real sense of belonging within their community.

This is more than just a club - it’s becoming a place where young people feel valued, supported, and listened to.

And the best part? We’re only just getting started. There’s so much more to come, and we’re excited to keep building something really special here in Burscough.

Every Friday 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Burscough Wellbeing & Leisure Hub

If you haven’t been down yet, now is the time to get involved. Come and see what it’s all about - you won’t want to miss it!!

Digital skills are more important than ever, and every Wednesday we provide a supportive environment where people can improve their confidence, gain practical knowledge, and overcome barriers to accessing services, opportunities, and connections online.

We’re proud to deliver a range of dementia-friendly workshops within the local community, creating opportunities for people to connect, engage and enjoy meaningful activities together.

Recently, we held a fun and interactive sign language activity, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved. It was fantastic to see people learning new skills, communicating in different ways and sharing plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the session.

Activities like these are so important in supporting wellbeing, encouraging social interaction and creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels involved and valued.

Our dementia workshops are all about bringing people together in a relaxed, welcoming environment while promoting confidence, connection and positive experiences within the community.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel welcomed, respected and valued within their community, regardless of who they are or who they love. Pride is a time to celebrate individuality, champion equality and recognise the importance of creating spaces where everyone can belong.

Let's continue building communities that are kind, inclusive and full of pride - not just this month, but every day of the year 🌈

Our young people had the opportunity to meet officers from Lancashire Police, who came along to speak about the importance of staying safe within the community. The session gave young people the chance to ask questions, learn more about community safety and build positive relationships with local police officers.

One of the highlights of the evening was getting a look inside a real police car, which definitely created plenty of excitement!

Experiences like this are so valuable for young people, helping to educate, engage and encourage positive conversations in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Our Preston Youth Club runs every week and is open to all young people aged 6-16.

🗓 Every Wednesday
⏰ 6:00pm - 8:00pm

We’d love to see some new faces come along and get involved 💙
