As the weather starts to warm up, its really important to keep your home cool and ventilated.

Stay cool and stay safe with our window safety top tips.

✅ Make sure your window restrictors are in good working order
✅ If you open a window wider, always re-engage the restrictors afterwards
✅ Never paint over window parts- it can stop them working properly
✅ Keep furniture away from windows to prevent falls, especially for kids and pets

During the school holidays, you may notice more noise or activity in your neighbourhood 🏡

Children playing outside, or the odd party or BBQ, are a normal part of community life ⚽

But if you experience behaviour which makes you feel unsafe or threatened, it may be antisocial behaviour (ASB).

You can report ASB to us by signing in or signing up and go to ‘My neighbourhood’.

We will respond to all high risk ASB within one working day and investigate all other ASB within five working days.

🚨 If you believe a crime is being committed, or if somebody has been threatened or assaulted please report it to the police immediately.

Thinking of firing up the barbecue this bank holiday? 🍗🥩

We all love a BBQ in the sunshine, but warmer weather can mean increased fire risks.

Here's our top tips to stay safe:

✅Always barbecue outdoors in a well-ventilated space, away from buildings, fences or anything flammable
✅Keep sand or a bucket of water nearby for emergencies
❌Never use a BBQ indoors or on a balcony
❌Never leave a BBQ unattended, especially around children.

Spring clean on your mind? 🧹🗑

If you’ve got bulky items like fridges, mattresses or sofas to get rid of, there are a couple of ways you can do it 🏡♻️

You can arrange a bulky waste collection through Our Walsall , or if you’re able to travel, take your items to one of the local Waste Recycling Centres:

📍 Middlemore Lane, Aldridge, WS9 8EE

🚫Please don’t leave items outside your home. Fly-tipping is a criminal offence and a breach of tenancy. We will take action against people caught flytipping.

If you see fly-tipping in your area, report it through your online account.
