🌟 Volunteers – We Need You! 🌟

The Chatty Café Scheme is growing across the UK, and we're looking for more amazing volunteers to help us create welcoming spaces where conversations can flourish and connections can be made.

Volunteering at a Chatty Table is one of the most rewarding things you can do. By giving just a few hours a week, you'll be helping to reduce loneliness, build community connections and brighten someone's day with a simple conversation.
What many of our volunteers tell us is that they get just as much out of it as the people who attend. New friendships, increased confidence, a sense of purpose and being part of something truly special are just some of the benefits.

No experience is needed, and full training and ongoing support are provided. All you need is a friendly smile, a listening ear and a willingness to get the chat started.

We’re incredibly proud to welcome Harvester Venues⁠ as a valued partner of The Chatty Café Scheme.

With Harvester venues now joining us right across the UK, we’re able to reach more communities than ever before and offer a simple but powerful solution to loneliness: a conversation.

Every day, people walk through our doors feeling isolated, struggling with their mental health, grieving, retired, new to an area, or simply in need of a friendly face and a chat.

And that’s where our volunteers make all the difference.

✨ No counselling.
✨ No specialist experience needed.
✨ Just kindness, a warm welcome and a willingness to chat.

We’re urgently looking for Chatty Table Volunteers across the UK to help get conversations started in our growing network of Harvester venues.

Just a few hours a week can:

💛 Help someone feel less alone
💛 Build confidence and friendships
💛 Strengthen your local community
💛 Give you a real sense of purpose
