How should food waste be collected in ? 🍽️💡

The Environment Act 2021 requires local authorities in England to introduce weekly food waste collections.

Two options are being considered:

👉 Separate weekly food waste collections (with free small electricals pick-up)
👉 Mixed food & garden waste in the brown bin

The consultation is open until 7 November 2025. Join the conversation and help shape the future of waste services in Walsall:
