💙LETS GET THESE CATS IN TO A TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME💙

FOSTERERS FOR TEMPORARY HELP

I have had a couple of requests of help from people in dreadful situations who really need help finding a temporary foster for their cat(s).

I wondered if any of my followers would be interested in this?

Maybe you’re not ready for a kitty of your own? You don’t want the additional finances involved?
You can’t commit to a forever pet?

Could you help someone in a very difficult situation and offer a safe and loving home to their cat(s) until their ‘back in their feet’.

Note: this is an unknown length of time so just be able to commit to this cat for the time they need.

If interested, please drop me a message below.

I’m going to look at logistics later and I’ll reach out to anyone interested and get information and forms completed.

Let’s help cats and owners who don’t want to part with their pets but have had a dreadful accident or life has hit them hard and they just need a bit of time to get back on top!

This is how it is for us rescuers, and how some members of the public behave.

We all try to do our best, however we have limited resources and literally cannot help them all. The amount of times I see people write in community groups “I contacted all of the rescues and no one wants to help” 🙄 Firstly, it’s not that rescues don’t want to help it’s that they don’t have capacity. And secondly, these people never contact all of the rescues - rescues talk amongst ourselves so we know this for a fact.

“Someone needs to help these kittens”. True story. So step up and be that someone 🤷‍♀️

I’ve finally accepted I’ve been pushing myself too hard. Fun fact: by end of April I worked more hours than the average person will work in a year. And I’m not alone… many rescuers are in the same boat. And it’s never enough for some! Fellow rescuers - stop burning yourself out! As I’ve been saying to other rescues for years… you’re better off helping less, then burning out completely and helping none. And here I am finally taking my own advice 😅

Now that winter is here, I intend to not be working long hours 7 days a week and I won’t be feeling guilty about it. Want to help some kitties? Ask nicely and I may be able to help, or I can guide you to help them yourselves. Be rude, and you’ll not receive a response and will instantly be blocked.

💙TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE CATS IN OUR CARE, THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER (WEATHER PERMITTING) I WILL BE HAVING A STALL EVERY WEEKEND AND BANK HOLIDAYS AT THE END OF WITTENHAM LANE ( OX10 7JW) AND SELLING A VARIETY OF ITEMS LIKE CHILDRENS TOYS, GAMES AND JIGSAWS, AS WELL AS HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, BRIC A BRAC AND MUCH MORE.
YOU WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO HAVE TEA/COFFEE, CAKE, ICE CREAM, AND FUDGE, ALL OF WHICH IS HOMEMADE.
WE ALSO HAVE HONEY FRIM IUR IWN BEES.
WE ALSO TAKE CARDS NOW, AND WILL BE THERE BETWEEN 11.00 & 4.00.
I WILL POST SOME PHOTOS ON SATURDAY ONCE EVERYTHING IS SET UP💙
