Expressive Communication

Expressive Communication Welcome to the page of Expressive Communication. If you would like more information, please contact us. [email protected]

We're a fledgling social enterprise whose primary goal is to promote verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Drawing on the considerable experience of team leaders Peter Jones and Elwyn 'Slim' Parry, our projects have included signing for people with learning disabilities/additional needs, school groups, corporate training and community events. Our aim is to promote inter-personal skills; from

Train the Trainer and one-to-one sessions through to storytelling, signing for sports coaching and drama-based group activities as part of an enrichment programme... or simply as fun. Getting the message across. Check out our website's workshop page for more information. Working with teachers, students, business professionals, like-minded individuals, care and support workers (and let's not forget organisations such as Barnardo's, Mencap, Wired and the NHS) we devise and create bespoke interactive communication workshops. We are advocates of life long learning and have recently started working with people for whom English is a second language. Since 75%+ of all communication is non-verbal (body language etc) we already share more common ground than you might imagine. Together we can look for the missing 25%! Yes, alright, that was a bit cheesy - but you get the idea. Since this is a brand new website it's going to take a while to get it all to the standard we'd like and we thank you for your patience in bearing with us whilst it's under construction. Please do have a good look around the site and feel free to contact us at our email contact. In the meantime, thanks for taking the time to check us out and please... watch this space for project information and upcoming events!

Last year 2019 Expressive Communication bought tickets to see 52 live shows. So far this year we have been to 3 and no plans until see any others. So sad, this sector needs urgent support.
