The quilt exhibition at the festival of quilts in Birmingham!

The quilt tour has started! Day one in Birmingham was today and a lot of people visited the stand at the Festival of Quilts. There were conversations and tears, and also lots of people trying to understand su***de bereavement.
We have added the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall to the tour map - 27th to 30th August.

Through our quilts, peer support groups, advocacy, and work with coroners, we aim to honour lives, ease grief, and build communities of care.

Losing someone to su***de is devastating, and the inquest process can add further stress for those left behind. That’s why our work with coroners and their teams is so important, helping to improve the inquest process for people bereaved by su***de and reduce additional trauma.

By sharing our knowledge and lived experience, we aim to make the process more compassionate, understanding, and supportive, acknowledging the lasting impact of su***de on families, friends, and communities.

Together, we can help ensure that those already grieving feel seen, heard, and supported.
