🤩🤩🏆🌳🎵🎺What an awesome day at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain at the Royal Albert Hall today!
🤩We are absolutely delighted with our 18th place - we could not have done it without our fantastic MD Kevin Smith keeping us firmly on track 🎵🎺🎵💚

We’d like to extend our congratulations to Aldbourne Band for their prize-winning 2nd place!

🤩Massive thanks too to the irrepressible Jeff Brown for his unstoppable enthusiasm and the minute by minute organisation of the last few days 📋

📣👏🏻Something we did not expect and were not prepared for was the rock star reception we got from the fabulous VCB supporters in the audience - that alone made us feel like winners before we’d even played a note! 🤩Thank you all so much! 🤩

🤩 And last but not least - thank you to all who have supported Verwood Concert Brass and Verwood Town Band on our Road to the Finals this year ✨⭐️🌟💫🤩

🍂🍁We’ve got a day off tomorrow before we are back to rehearsal on Monday for our spookily seasonal Concert at the Verwood Hub on Saturday 24th October featuring all four VCB bands 🎃🎃 more details to come soon!

🎺Celebratory bubbles 🍾and cake, and the final rehearsal done for 🌳🎵🎺 Verwood Concert Brass on Dorset soil - the next time we play will be tomorrow at the Royal Albert Hall at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 🏆🎺🤩

🙏We’d like to say a massive ⭐️THANK YOU ⭐️ to EVERYONE who has supported us on our Road to the Finals, especially those in Verwood. We are incredibly proud to be taking the name to the Championships, and we were over the moon to have an official send-off from Mayor Simon Gibson before we got on the coach!

☘️We would like to send best wishes to our friends in 🎺Flowers Band and in 🎺Aldbourne Band who are also heading to London, and good luck and safe journeys to all the bands competing - we can’t wait to perform in such an amazing venue, and be part of one of the best events in brass banding! 🤩🤩
