🌳🏃♀️ Who wants a Parkrun in Uxbridge? 🏃♂️🌳
Hi everyone! I’m Phillip, I’m 14 and I love running. I’ve been going to Parkruns at Stockley Country, Black Park, and Northala — but I’ve noticed something… there isn’t one in Uxbridge!
I think the fields next to Hillingdon Leisure Centre would be the perfect spot:
✅ Just 15 mins walk from Uxbridge Station
✅ U1 & U2 buses stop nearby
✅ Toilets, parking & refreshments at the leisure centre
✅ Right next to Hillingdon Athletics Club, so plenty of runners already nearby
My idea is a simple 5k loop starting on the field and around the old ski slope. Lots of space for volunteers, spectators, and of course — runners of all abilities!
