The Dunsfold Collection is immensely proud to have secured “ADA” for display in within The Dunsfold Collection!!

After 32 years of operational service within Mountain Rescue England and Wales (“MREW”), split between Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team and North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team (“NDSART”).

Ada, or Dart 51, made her final journey in service to The Collection on March 8th.

Dunsfold is supporting Ultra Extreme Athlete and British Army veteran Darren Hardy, who is attempting to set a new world record by pulling a 1.5-tonne Land Rover for 100km in 100 hours. Held at Blackbushe Airport in Surrey between 20 March and 24 March, Darren will be harnessed to one of the Collection’s Stage 1 V8 88 prototypes. Find out more by visiting our website

10 years ago today The Dunsfold Collection’s Defender 90 rolled off the production line. 11th from the end and originally owned by famed Land Rover employee Roger Crawthorne, The Collection acquired it in 2022…

We’re very excited to announce a rather special addition to The Dunsfold Collection, The Defender 110 that on 8 August 2008 became the first road vehicle to cross the Bering Strait between Russia and Alaska during the Cape-to-Cape Expedition has joined us! This world record setting vehicle will be on display at our spring open day…
