Welcome to the official page for Reading University Hindu Society, associated with the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF). Reading University Hindu Society is open to all students interested in Hinduism. As a society, we aim:

To promote social and religious activities with students within the university and the local community, enabling students to meet others. To teach Hindu dharma (

duty), and to help Hindu students balance Hindu teachings with university life. To celebrate Hindu festivals together. To encourage the practice of 'sewa' (selfless service). This includes volunteering and helping those in need. Furthermore, as part of the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF), we also work closely with other universities, providing great opportunities to meet new people from across the UK. Anyone interested in joining Reading University Hindu Society should visit our stand at freshers' fair on 21st September and join our page. Hope to see you soon!
