The FireWorks Collective are fire performers from all over the UK, Europe, and a handful of internat Our performance is our gift to the Burning Man community.

Each year The FireWorks Collective brings together fire performers from all over the UK to collaborate on a unique performance and audition for Fire Conclave at Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada. So far, we are the only UK group to regularly perform as part of Conclave. We welcome performers who want to contribute and join us on our annual journey. Some of our members are experienced p

rofessionals and long-time burners. Others are relatively new to performance and are Burning Man virgins. Each year we seek to travel across the globe to bring our gift of love home to Burning Man. As well as performing at Burning Man we also take our performance to carefully selected UK festivals. Although many of us are professional fire performers we make no profit from our involvement in the Collective. The FireWorks Collective builds a new performance group each year. We work together creatively but each individual must take responsibility for themselves both during the months of preparatory work and during Burning Man. We will nurture and support each other but ultimately only self-reliance will take you to the Playa. The FireWorks Collective is founded on creative cooperation and collaboration. Through our creative endeavours we build new connections both within the UK fire spinning community and beyond. The FireWorks Collective is committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play. We make the world real through actions that open the heart.
