Curious about how our project volunteers monitor air pollution at home? Using a nitrogen dioxide diffusion tube may sound complex, but it is actually very simple!

Check out our short video, specially made for We Care for Our Air Redbridge volunteers, to learn the process.

A lovely summer’s day yesterday at Mayespark Primary School Fayre where we collected some more monitoring points for our We Care for Our Air Redbridge air quality map.

Did you know that air pollution isn't just caused by cars? Burning BBQs also release harmful pollutants like nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and tiny solid particles. That's why it's important we consider a wide range of factors to get a complete picture of air quality in the borough.

If you're curious about the air quality of specific places in Redbridge, don't miss out on our last workshop of this series! Join us this afternoon from 3:45 to 4:45 at Newbury Park Primary School.

📣 This we are inviting you to join us in "We Care for Our Air" - a new project by the London Borough of Redbridge to spread awareness about local air quality.

There are lots of ways to get involved to make a real difference in the community:

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Pop by our upcoming introductory workshops in July! They're open to all Redbridge residents who want to learn more and volunteer to monitor pollution levels in their neighbourhood. No worries if you have no experience – we've got you covered with all the tools and guidance you'll need.

🚲Feeling adventurous? Sign up for our adult cycle training courses and discover new ways to travel while boosting your health and your community’s health.
