Great ride around Ashridge yesterday for three Pedallers. Weather could not have been better. Albeit, delightfull cycling through the forest, we managerd to take in some of the the old favourites, the monument, the 'steps', around stocks golf course, Aldbury and Norcott Hill. Rounded the trip off at the Bakehouse for obligitory coffee and chat. Job well done.

A enjoyable ride out for three Prostate Pedallers today. A pacey 23.5 miles of very enjoyable trails and roads covered. Please get in touch if you would like to know more about our adventures and, more importantly, how we support each other.

The Pedallers Saturdays ride took off from the Oval in Harpenden and headed for Spokes cyclists Cafe in Codicote. A thirteen mile adventure using mostly paths and trails. Weather was hot so the earlier start was a good call. We were all fueled up with plenty of fluid for the journey and the hydration break at Spokes was enjoyed by all. Another great morning ride for the Pedallers. Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to join one of our rides.

It was good to return to the Ashridge estate today for our midweek Pedallers ride. It's been a long time coming. Our route took us up hill and down dale for a scenic view of the Chiltern's. Another good decision was to pull into the Church Farm cafe for our brew and chat. All in all a good mornings work.

Saturday’s meet up through the Hertfordshire country lanes, it didn’t quite go to plan due to a total road closure but as always, it’s no big problem, plan B got us back to the oval cafe a bit earlier meaning plenty of time for the important chat, coffee and cake

Our first post Normandy ride on Wednesday saw six Pedallers ride out from the oval, mostly off road but in 30 plus degrees, it was not a problem as most of us have had much bigger challenges to face, safely back for coffee, cake and a good laugh, you are all amazing 💪❤️

Day3 Bayeux - Ouistreham, after the previous 2 days we welcomed an easier 36 miles in the 30 degree heat (even with some light rain) which gave us more time to find and appreciate points of interest and the beautiful Normandy countryside. What an amazing journey and opportunity to spend time with friends of the cycling club that no wants wants to really join.

Day two, Saint marie du mont
- bayeux, although temperatures were cooler than the previous day (30 degrees) from a gentle breeze this was our longest ride of the Normandy tour some 48 miles, visiting points of interest, including the bayeux war cemetery just outside our destination which brought home the reality of war and the sacrifices given, in a strange sense we all felt lucky to be here as many were not.

This time last week we started our 3rd annual trip abroad and again in Normandy, a different route this year and also a road ride for the first time, day one was a 46 mile ride from Cherbourg - Saint marie du mont
Temperatures of around 36 degrees, this ride would not have been possible without our trusted back up team and vehicle, constantly supplying us with water and food to help us complete our journey safely.
