A few of our MMTG members enjoyed a brilliant afternoon out on Saturday for a bottomless brunch at Mr Wilson’s in Sheffield! 🍹🍽️

✈️ A special moment at 35,000 feet…✈️

On their journey home from New York (JFK) to London Heathrow, our Director, Richard, and Choreographer, Anita, flew over Newfoundland – the very place where the true story of Come From Away began.

Knowing they’ll soon be bringing this remarkable story to the stage together at Rotherham Civic Theatre from 2–6 March 2027 made it a truly special moment.

We can’t wait to share this inspiring story of kindness, hope and humanity with you.

🌼 Happy Yorkshire Day! 💙

What better way to celebrate than by looking back at one of our favourite Yorkshire stories?

Here’s a clip from the band call of Calendar Girls, performed by Maltby Musical Theatre Group at the Rotherham Civic Theatre in March 2023. A show full of laughter, friendship, heart, and true Yorkshire spirit.

We’re incredibly proud to have brought this much-loved story to the stage, and we hope you enjoy this little trip down memory lane.

Hello, we are Maltby Minors Youth Theatre Group - established in 1991 to provide the local community with all aspects of Drama, Dance, Singing & Theatre Craft.

Two sessions a week held at the Wesley Centre, Maltby for everyone aged 9 - 25 years old, with at least one show a year.

Next years show is High School Musical

Last Saturday (25th July), we had a brilliant day at the Maltby Summer Show! ☀️🎭

Thank you to everyone who visited our bottle tombola, supported our fundraising, and chatted to us about our upcoming production of Come From Away.

It was great to meet so many people from the local community, including the Mayor of Rotherham, and to spend the day alongside Maltby Minors Youth Theatre Group.
