🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE 🚨

Unfortunately, due to the current amber weather warning for heavy rain and flooding, with a forecast of up to 200mm of rain, we are unable to safely run tomorrow’s Christmas Market.
For everyone’s safety, the event is cancelled.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

A lot of work goes into this event from our planners and stallholders, and we are truly sad to have to make this decision.

We can accommodate lots of different kinds of bookings. Such as 👇🏼

🎈 PARTY HIRE
The Main Hall is the perfect space for a party. It’s a wide open space with a neutral colour scheme that can easily be decorated. Brilliant for a children’s party in an afternoon with lots of space for party games, but equally great for an evening event with the option to hire our bad a staff for the evening.

☑️ RACE CHECKPOINTS
Due to our location in the Borrowdale Valley, we are used frequently as a checkpoint for runners in various races.

🖊️ MEETINGS & STAFF TRAINING DAYS
Our Herdwick Suite and Community Room are both great for smaller scale meetings. Each with their own facilities for food and drink prep. Our Main Hall is a a great option for a larger meeting/lecture.

💒 WEDDINGS
We offer a wedding package that includes exclusive use of the building and car park. What better place to celebrate your special day than in the heart of the valley?

✨ ANYTHING!
Well, mostly anything! We have a variety of spaces that can be used for many different purposes. Get in touch to discuss the options and see which would be best fit for you!

Our setting in the middle of the village of Rosthwaite in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley means that we have views in all directions.

Out of one window you have the traditional stone buildings or the village and out of the next you have the incredible fields and fells. What could be better?!
