Today we held our Ear Health Clinic with our General Manager, Matt.👂

Matt is trained with Tympa Health and is able to provide inner ear examinations, ear wax removal, and hearing checks. This additional service is available to all residents who wish to benefit from it, helping to support their health, wellbeing, and independence.

A special well done to Ruth, who sat beautifully still today for her very first examination. She did an amazing job and was delighted to learn more about her ear health.

We're proud to offer services that promote proactive healthcare and enhance the quality of life for our residents.

🌻 Edwardstow Court Sunflower Growing Competition🌻

Our residents at Edwardstow Court Care Home are enjoying a friendly sunflower-growing competition this year!

The challenge is on to see who can grow:

🏆 The Tallest Sunflower
🌻 The Biggest Flower

We've had great fun planting our sunflower seeds and watching them grow. Residents have been caring for their plants, comparing progress and sharing gardening tips along the way.

Here are some photos from planting day and our sunflowers' growth journey so far. We can't wait to see the final results and crown our champions!

🎨✨ Button Art Cards! ✨🎨

Our recent creative activity was all about making beautiful Button Art Cards! Residents used colorful buttons, imagination and artistic skills to design unique and eye-catching creations.

From flowers and animals to hearts and abstract patterns, every card showcased creativity and individuality. It was wonderful to see everyone engaged, having fun and expressing themselves through art. 🌟

Flower arranging with a twist! 🌸

Our residents have been getting creative, designing beautiful floral arrangements using teacups and saucers. These unique displays have added a lovely touch of colour and charm throughout the home, brightening communal areas and bringing smiles to everyone who sees them. 💐✨

That's right — Memphis Mike returns to Edwardstow Court with his fantastic Elvis Tribute Show... but this year he's bringing some friends along too! 💃✨

Join us for the Edwardstow Court Summer Music Festival on Saturday 8th August for an afternoon packed with live entertainment, delicious BBQ food and plenty of opportunities to sing, dance and celebrate with friends and family.

As Volunteers' Week comes to an end, we're looking back on some of the wonderful moments shared through volunteering.

As part of Volunteers' Week, we were delighted to invite our wonderful volunteers to join us for a special afternoon tea.

It was our opportunity to say thank you and show our appreciation for everything they do for our residents. Each volunteer was also presented with a small gift as a token of our gratitude for their time, kindness and dedication.
