Third Monthly Community Clean-Up – Speak Up for a Cleaner Southall.

This morning, we were delighted to hold our third monthly Southall Community Clean-Up as part of the Speak Up for a Cleaner Southall project.

Once again, residents and volunteers came together with enthusiasm and determination to help improve our local environment. Working side by side, we collected numerous bags of litter, making our streets and public spaces cleaner, greener and more welcoming for everyone.

Our monthly clean-up events continue to bring the community together, encouraging local people to take pride in their neighbourhood while promoting environmental responsibility and positive community action.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make today's event another great success. Your continued commitment is helping to create lasting change and inspire others to get involved.

We look forward to welcoming even more residents and volunteers to our next monthly clean-up.
Together, we are making Southall cleaner, greener and stronger.

Second Monthly Community Clean-Up – Speak Up for a Cleaner Southall

This morning, we were delighted to hold our second monthly Southall Community Clean-Up as part of the Speak Up for a Cleaner Southall project.

Despite the warm weather, residents and volunteers once again came together to make a real difference to our local community. Working together, we collected numerous bags of litter and helped improve public spaces, demonstrating the power of community action and environmental responsibility.

Our monthly clean-up events are bringing local residents together to take pride in their neighbourhood, tackle litter, and help create a cleaner, greener and safer Southall for everyone.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to support today's event. Your commitment is helping to build stronger communities while making a visible difference to the local environment.

🌍✨ Celebrating Courage, Resilience and Belonging ✨🌍
As part of Refugee Week, Acton Youth Association proudly brought together over 40 children and parents to honour the journeys, strength and contributions of refugees in our community.
Young people took to the stage to share the powerful stories of their parents’ journeys to the UK, reflecting on the challenges they faced as refugees, the hopes they carried, and what it has been like building a new life in Ealing.
The event was a moving reminder that behind every refugee story is courage, determination and the desire to belong. By sharing these experiences, our young people helped build understanding, celebrate diversity and strengthen community connections.

And just like that, Refugee Week 2026 in Ealing came to a close.
The food, the music, the oud, the laughter, the dancing, the conversations, it all happened. People from across the borough came together at W13 Impact Hub and filled the room (and the garden!) with something really special.

We were proud to welcome local politicians alongside our community because this is exactly the kind of moment where everyone belongs at the same table.
Five events. Five partners. One Ealing.

Thank you to every single person who came, who shared their story, who cooked, who played, who danced. You made this what it was.
