Walking4cf

Walking4cf Dedicated to raising funds and awareness of CF. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK.

Stephen Taylor walked Lands End to John O'Groats, climbed the 4 highest UK peaks cycling 650+ miles between each, summitted Everest twice on Pendle Hill (carrying a bath!) and much more. You can get involved by making donations to help support Steve in his mission to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, to ensure a cure is found, but also to help raise awareness of this cruel disease. It af

fects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way. It is a cruel disease and one we won't stop fighting until we win - please get involved and support us as much as you can.

Hello all - long time since I’ve posted on here but I’m still very much raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and still very grateful to the club for all you do!

See the pics below of a fab fundraiser for The Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre that is being held in memory of Shaun McGovern’s nephew Dean, who very sadly lost his life to CF aged only 46.

It will be a brilliant night with wonderful people - for an important cause 💙💛

If you would like a table or tickets please contact Shaun via a DM or on 07939 321715

I don’t like posting sad stuff but this I feel needs a mention.
This week we lost a massive supporter of our cause, she visited every event we have carried out, either selling cakes, calling me mad, dancing at our Balls while drinking Blue WKD or just having a quiet word with me to push on, She was so proud of all we achieved.

This week we lost my mum, the next event won’t be the same with out her support and willingness to help, she will be sadly missed

Rehab from the new knee is going to plan…….
I’m just taking this year off but, with your help we will be back, just a team member short.
