Erewash Museum is having a plant swap tomorrow if you'd like to pop along to support one of the fantastic local organisations! 🌱💙🧡

We are having our first plant swap of the year tomorrow 🌿🌼🌻🍀🌺

If you've got spare plants, bulbs or seeds please bring them along to our swapping table and collect something new! The plant swap will be set up along the main entrance to the museum and is free of charge.

The Dalby House Café will be open tomorrow during usual opening hours 11am to 4pm. Come and treat yourself to a cuppa, a slice of cake or a bite to eat. We hope to see you soon!

We have 2 garden projects coming up in the Erewash area and are looking for members who are able to help these fantastic organisations! 🌱

1️⃣ Help us improve the outdoor space for the young people living in a residential children’s home.

Tasks include:
Light gardening & weeding
Sweeping, clearing and jet washing paths
Painting benches
Helping to put up a metal gazebo

2️⃣ Home-Start Erewash – help to maintain the garden for young families to grow, learn play and use.

Tasks include:
General garden clear-up after the winter
Jet washing the hard play area
Light outdoor tasks

💛 No special skills needed — just your time and enthusiasm!

📅 REMINDER OF A CHANGE TO OUR MEETING 📅

Our meeting in Ilkeston has changed from today to Tuesday 31st October 1.30-3.00pm.

These meetings are back on the last Tuesday of the month, it would be great to see more members attend these to help us know what you'd like to see locally and to organise swaps. 🩵🧡
