Starting this month, some BCHA customers can expect to hear from Acquity to see how we are doing as your landlord.

Once per quarter, customers are selected randomly to be asked questions related to the Tenant Satisfaction Measures. This survey provides an opportunity to give confidential feedback about our services.

If you have any concerns or questions about the surveys, you can contact our Customer Services team on 01202 410 500.

In a recent visit to one of our Mental Health Floating Support teams, Tom Hayes MP noticed the soft yellow paint on the wall in one of the rooms at a property provided by Sovereign. He suggested to a member of his team that they copy the idea in their office. We look forward to seeing a photo Tom.

At BCHA we want people to feel at home and calm in their rooms so we avoid clinical white, dark and bright colours across BCHA properties. This follows our commitment to being person centred and following the concept of trauma informed environments.

Last week, BCHA's Jules, Business Manager for the Plymouth Outreach Teams, was invited to speak at "Our Voices, Our Careers: How Women Progress in Housing" at BLOCK Workspace in Plymouth, an event celebrating local women who have built their careers in the housing sector.

With approximately 58% of social housing customers identifying as female, representation is important when it comes to those working in the various services within the housing industry.

Jules said "I feel really lucky and privileged to work at BCHA. Not just for the fantastic teams, but for the invaluable support I have received. I am proud to work at an organisation that has a strong female influence across the organisation, from our CEO, several members of our directorate and multiple 'Heads of', all of whom champion and support women and their career progression at BCHA."

We're hiring across services in the region. If you're interested in working for a company that supports colleague growth and celebrates our differences, take a look at our vacancies here: https://ow.ly/kAmO50Z11br
