Meet the incredible, Steph from 😍

Steph is a part of our Dream Fund alum from 2024 and we had the pleasure of meeting up last week, where she reminded us what community is... and what it could be.

Keep a look out for Steph’s full Spotlight feature on our socials.👀

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be spotlighting our Dream Fund alumni and getting to the nitty gritty of why they do what they do and what their social impact journey has entailed.💕

‘It is our choice to be that monster, to be that cop. You must choose not to be!’🌿

🇲🇼Straight from Malawi, Emma continues to remind us the importance of individual choice. It’s your life, you’re in control.

We’re the ones who have the power to implement change, small or large. Continue to lead knowing your history and leverage that as motivation.

👀Keep an eye out on our website to read more critical, yet inspirational blogs from Emma. ✍🏾

✨What a day!✨

We’re always so grateful when our GirlDreamer Alumni invite us to join in with their community.

Thank you for a beautiful day...AGAIN!💕

We’ve learnt a lot from how you nurture your community and centre their comfort first - Creating a space where women can break the mold and challenge stereotypes.

“We are a product of migration, colonialism, globalisation...and it’s important for us to feel seen in the history of our past”

Love from Malawi!!! 🇲🇼

It’s always a joy hearing from Emma... now we’re seeing her with the most beautiful sun and little friend.😍

Still not over this!😍

you have out done yourself. AGAIN.

✨Thank you for using your beautiful talent and platform to highlight the importance of immigration.✨

This is exactly what GirlDreamer was built on…none of us would be here without these acts of bravery - individuals who fought and made sacrifices to give us opportunities to thrive, create communities and generate our own wealth.

🚨A reminder that our DreamFund is still open!🚨

Anisha & Neelam of shared honest and grounding insights on what it really takes to keep going.💕

✨A powerful reminder that growth isn’t always loud or linear, and that staying true to your “why” can be the thing that carries you through the toughest moments.✨

👀POV this is what you’re working for....

Working hard takes on a softer meaning when your heart knows the destination 🤍

💕It’s for the family waiting at the table, for laughter that spills into late nights with friends, for holidays that slow time and remind you who you are.

💕It’s for the moments of rest, the shared memories, the quiet joy of belonging.

Every effort, every long day, is gently carried by the love that gives it purpose.

This is what keeps us going - not the grind, but the life I’m building around it.🌎

Let’s be honest…

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows when you’re a woman of colour in a man’s world. 🌈

There’s statistically less of us, meaning less support network that ACTUALLY understands our cultural upbringings, micro-aggressions, casual racism….the list goes on.🙄

Truthfully, even when we feel empowered and on top of the world, childhood experiences scar us with questions we’re still learning to shake off.

Does anyone else feel this? 👀

Do it for YOURSELF!😍

This is what we’re aiming for in 2026. 🎯

Believe in your vision even when no one claps yet. You don’t need permission to take up the space you already belong in.

✨Thank you Cream of .lab for welcoming us into this year with true GirlDreamer vibes!✨

✨Building Our Community✨

Thank you for being part of the GirlDreamer family and helping us nurture a community full of inspiring women of colour.🥺💕

Ah we love a good catch up with Emma😍

These impacts are not historical footnotes; they are lived realities. Working together across communities matters because collective solidarity challenges structures that were designed to divide us.

When women of colour support one another, we reclaim voice, agency, and the right to define our own futures.🙌🏾👩🏾‍💻

01/12/2025

Remember, we didn’t start for applause. We started for impact, security and a better space for our community.👩🏾‍💻

Every woman in business has moments when the path feels blurry and the pace feels heavy. But the magic happens when we pause, breathe, and return to the why. 💆🏾‍♀️

Thank you | your words never fail!✨
