Fire doors play a vital role in keeping you safe 🚪🔥

If you live in a block with five or more floors, we'll carry out a yearly check of your flat entrance door to make sure it's doing its job properly. We'll need access to both sides of the door, but don't worry, the inspection only takes around 30 seconds ⏰

As well as checking apartment entrance doors, we inspect all communal fire doors in your building every three months.

Fire doors are designed to slow the spread of fire and smoke, helping to protect lives and escape routes. That's why it's important to keep them closed and never prop them open.
