It was set up following a British Council funded Active Citizens Programme (delivered by Exeter CVS) Are you part of a community group or voluntary organisation in Exeter? Would you like the opportunity to help create a unique piece of collaborative art? A local social action group are working on a chain of bunting which will be made up of art from groups & organisations to celebrate local & globa

l cultural diversity & community spirit. The art will be used as a learning tool & exhibited to promote community groups in Exeter & highlight the city’s links with Ethiopia.

Here's a date for your diary. On the 25th October 2014 from 10am - 1pm Melanie Cowlan (and friends from Bicton College) will be coming in to do a demonstration of decorative hand-felting and needle-felting with raw wool here at Exeter Scrapstore. Melanie says it is an easy, clean, inexpensive and versatile craft that can be adapted for a range of abilities. We hope to see you here for some crafty fun!
