There is less than a month to go until our Christmas pantomime of 'Robin Hood: Men In Chaos'!!
Come along and boo, hiss, clap, cheer and laugh as we follow Robin Hood and his band of merry men as they try to save Snottingham Forest from being destroyed by the evil new Sheriff!
Packed with songs, slapstick, silliness and fairytale magic for the whole family to enjoy.

⭐️Meet Our Cast⭐️

In the run up to our performances we are asking a few of our amazing cast some questions before the show so you can get to know them before you see them in action.
Today is the turn of the wonderful Caitlin who has been in ACT pantomimes since she was born. She plays Chaos, one half of the Sheriff's henchmen!

🌳Who do you play & what are they like?
I play Chaos, a henchman to the sheriff of Snottingham. I’m not the brightest and so me and my best friend Mayhem cause a few problems.

🌳What can people expect to see this year?
This year people can expect, laughter, fun and maybe a few rotten vegetables...

🌳What do you enjoy most about panto?
I enjoy the people at panto the most, over the course of our rehearsals we build strong friendships and that’s what makes Acting Community Thingumybogs so different. When we perform we are all having fun together!

🌳What is your favourite pantomime joke?
My favourite joke is the same as Maid Marion’s, when David of Doncaster has just been arrested. It is quite hard to stand on stage with a straight face for that one. You will have to listen out for it.

Today is the turn of Ella who plays the beautiful and feisty Maid Marion!

🌳Who do you play & what are they like?
I play Maid Marion. She’s brave, patient and kind. She wants the best for the people of Snottingham & she's unafraid to fight to make sure that they get it!

🌳What can people expect to see this year?
People can expect to see songs, dances, double entendres, romance, drama, bright lights, stage fights, chaos, mayhem and a whole lot of fun!

🌳What do you enjoy most about panto?
My favourite thing about panto is watching it come together each year. Seeing how things change from the first read through of the script, to the mistakes as we put it on it’s feet, to how it comes together with the help of the backstage team, ready for the brilliant performances that you’ll get to see, is a really fun and unique experience.

🌳What is your favourite pantomime joke?
My favourite joke this year is the one made about why David has been arrested- you’ll have to listen out for it when you come and see the show!

If you saw some strange folk running around Carterton this afternoon it was probably the Robin Hood: Men In Chaos cast filming a small scene for our upcoming pantomime!! Thankyou to all the businesses that let the Sheriff of Snottingham tax you and to everyone that gave us a wave!

We are very excited to announce that tickets are on sale now for our Christmas pantomime of Robin Hood: Men In Chaos! The merriest of family pantos!

We are very excited to be performing at our new home Gateway Primary School with performances on Sat 16th (2pm & 7pm) & Sun 17th Dec (11am & 4pm).

(Please note that at our lovely new venue the seating is all on one level and is not raised, although we will have a raised stage at the front we do recommend that younger audience members may get a better view closer to the front.)

We would like to say a huge congratulations to our wonderful cast member Daisy who is performing as Glinda in the SYP production of Wizard of Oz this week in Swindon!! It's a fabulous production and we were very honoured to see Acting Community Thingumybogs mentioned in the programme. 🥰🥰🥰

Don't forget about our panto enrolment this evening! Pop into the Community Centre on Shilton Park any time between 6pm-8pm.
Come along to sign up to take part this year and have a chat about what you would like to do. No prior experience is needed, all we ask is that you are enthusiastic!

We are already hard at work planning our 30th annual pantomime, which this year will be Robin Hood!!
🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊
Would you like to take part in our magical pantomime?! Then come along and sign up at our enrolment evening on Thurs 3rd August at Carterton Community Centre.
You don't need any prior experience, all we ask is that you are enthusiastic however, new members must be over 16 to enrol this year. We know this may be disappointing for younger people who may have wanted to take part however, we have had to make this difficult decision due to limits we must place on the size of our cast this year.
