We are a charity helping to provide vulnerable people with support and quality, safe, homely housing. Our Housing Team are happy to help you source items.

SERVICES:

Shared houses: 2, 3 or 4 bed properties with shared kitchen, bathroom, and lounge. Communal TV in the living room and TV licence provided along with Wi-Fi. Rooms are fully furnished and ready for you to move in their personal items. One bed flats (Lincoln only): Newly built modern flats which would suit an individual, couple of young parents with a baby. LEAP provide the white goods and carpets, but you will need to provide your own furniture. In the flats you are responsible for all your own bills, sourcing wi-fi and TV licence. Of course, our friendly team, will support you with this and make sure you are fully set up. Two bed flats (Lincoln only): Newly built modern flats which would suit small families. Three bed family home (Gainsborough only): Carpeted throughout and well decorated, this house will make a lovely home for a family. It is unfurnished but our Housing Team will help you to seek everything that you need. You will be responsible for your bills, wi-fi, and TV licence but again, we can support you to set up everything that you need. Our Statement on the Government’s Plan to End Street Homelessness:

We welcome the Government's commitment to ensure that everyone sleeping rough is offered a route off the streets by Christmas. The additional investment and recognition that rough sleeping is a challenge requiring support from government, local authorities, housing providers, charities and communities is a positive step forward.

At LEAP, we know from over three decades of supporting people facing homelessness across Lincolnshire that providing a bed is only part of the solution. Sustainable change comes through safe accommodation, practical support, good mental and physical healthcare, employment opportunities, and helping people rebuild their lives. The Government's focus on accommodation alongside wider support services reflects what frontline organisations have long understood.

We look forward to working with partners across Lincolnshire to ensure that any new opportunities and investment deliver lasting outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping in our communities.

🐈‍⬛ Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛

We often share photos of our office dogs, but today it's time for another very special four-legged friend!

Meet Luther, the beautiful black cat belonging to our Assistant CEO, Trudi Ward-Walters. Luther loves keeping Trudi company while she works from her home office and is never far away when there's a Teams meeting or paperwork to be done!

Luther was adopted from a local animal charity four years ago and has been a much-loved member of the family ever since. ❤️

Did you know that black cats are often among the least likely cats to be adopted, with some charities citing lingering myths and superstitions as a contributing factor? Yet they are every bit as affectionate, playful and lovable as any other cat.

Today, we're celebrating Luther and all the wonderful black cats out there.

We'd love to see your photos! Share a picture of your black cat in the comments and tell us a little bit about them. 📸

And if you're considering welcoming a cat into your home, why not support organisations such as Cats Protection and other local animal rescue charities who work tirelessly to find loving homes for cats in need.
