Exciting times at the Hub!!!

On Saturday 24 October we will be holding our First 'Out of Hours' group. This inaugral meeting will be a chance for the people we support to decide what they want this Group to look like over next few months. This could be social activities, games groups, party planning or days away; or it could be tackling issues that affect them such as health and wellbeing, on line safety etc.

The first item on the Agenda - Naming the Group!!!!!

All people within the learning disabilities community in the Scottish Borders are welcome. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please come along if you wish to have your voice heard!!!!

We can't wait to see what happens!!!

Who says Mobility Cars should be limited to Doblo's and Caddy's!!!!!

Christian took a trip today to the Ferrari and Lamborghini sales rooms in Fort Kinnard to size up our new mobility vehicle for the hub. There is only one question - red or white????

I'm sure our Senior leaders will happily approve this purchase.

Aching feet but big smiles! On Sunday, Jess, Jager and Gary undertook the KiltWalk's Mighty Stride, and Darren, Natasha and Aaila stepped up to the mark and completed the Big Stroll. Combined, they walked a total of 96miles to raise funds for us right here, in the Scottish Borders.

🎳 Shared Lives Bowling Fun! 🎳

What a fantastic afternoon we had yesterday at Hawick Bowling Club for our Shared Lives bowling event! 🥳

There were plenty of smiles, laughs and some great bowling, with everyone getting involved and having a brilliant time. 🏆🎳

A huge thank you to all our wonderful Shared Lives carers and the people we support who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, having fun and spending time together.

🏆 Congratulations to all our winners! There were some fantastic prizes handed out to celebrate the winning performances -well deserved!

And, of course, a little drizzle of rain wasn’t going to stop the fun! ☔😂 Everyone carried on regardless and made the most of the afternoon.
