Welcome our newest ambassador 💜✨
My name is Amba, and I was born with a rare genetic condition linked to the GNA11 gene, resulting in vascular birthmarks that cover my body both externally and internally. Growing up, I faced bullying, years of hospital visits and operations, and believed I had to hide behind makeup to be accepted.
What started as using makeup to cover my birthmarks eventually became a passion, but it also became a mask. It wasn’t until I learned to embrace my skin that I truly found confidence.
Today, I use my platform to raise awareness of vascular birthmarks, challenge misconceptions, and encourage others to feel confident in their own skin. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with amazing beauty brands who believe in representation, and I’m especially proud and honoured to be an Ambassador for the Birthmark Support Group UK. Supporting others with birthmarks and visible differences is something that means so much to me because I know how life-changing it is to feel seen, understood, and accepted.
My journey has taught me that confidence doesn’t come from perfection, it comes from acceptance, resilience, and embracing what makes you unique. If sharing my story helps even one person feel less alone, then every step of this journey has been worth it. 💜
