In January 2025, we celebrated the 500th anniversary of the first Anabaptist baptisms which took place in Zurich, Switzerland. At a time of great social and cultural upheaval, the early Anabaptists emerged as a community of Jesus-followers who were passionate about faithful discipleship and prophetic action. They gathered together in ordinary places to learn and worship together, they cared for the vulnerable and were committed to radical sharing and peace.
