The Invisible Friends The Invisible Friends (TIF) is a registered UK Charity raising awareness of Invisible Disabilities

The Invisible Friends (TIF) is a registered UK charity (1172532) supporting & raising awareness of Hidden/Invisible Illnesses/Disabilities, particularly within our younger generation

Through the power & creativity of music, our TIF Choirs (Age range: 8 - 30-year-olds) sing at a variety of events all over the UK, to raise awareness of such conditions & to become the voice for those currently suffering in silence. As a Charity, our goal is to continue to set up TIF Choirs in different towns & cities across the UK, so that we can reach out to as many young people as we can & to help educate society at large surrounding acknowledging, accepting & appreciating the existence of Hidden/Invisible Illnesses/Disabilities

We also encourage the importance of inclusion & integration towards those living with an Invisible Illness/Disability, those living with a Visible Illness/Disability & indeed the non-disabled too

It’s an exciting day for our talented students at Freddie Vokes School of Performing Arts! Today, we are incredibly proud to be supporting the amazing TIF (The Invisible Friends) at their fantastic event! A huge thank you to the wonderful TIF team for inviting us to be part of such a special day. 💙💛✨ TODAY IS THE DAY!!! THE PRIDE OF TIF 2026 IS HERE! ✨💛💙

Our TIF Derby Choir of Superstars are BORN READY to sing LOUD, PROUD & FROM THE HEART! 🎤🎶⭐ We are bursting with excitement for this evening’s spectacular Awards Ceremony, celebrating the courage, achievements and brilliance of our incredible children and young people!

But the BIG question is… 🏆👀 WHO WILL BE CROWNED THE PRIDE OF TIF 2026?! 👑✨

We cannot WAIT to be blown away by this year’s phenomenal Guest Acts: Emily Taylor, Kate Taylor, Keira, Liv, Freddie Vokes School of Performing Arts and, of course, our sensational Headliner Guest Act, the one and only SHONA LINDSAY! 🌟🎭

From making her professional debut at just 12 years old as Annie in the hit musical Annie, to being personally cast by Andrew Lloyd Webber as Christine in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera, Shona is an extraordinary talent, and we are SO excited to welcome her to The Pride of TIF! 💙💛

Our Young Ambassador of The Invisible Friends Charity Immi Davis is unable to join us this evening however she has sent over a wonderful message that we would like to share with you all:

📣✨️ TIME TO SHINE TALENT SHOW ✨️📣

Our friends at Tegan's Butterflies in Paradise Charity along with Feel Alive Hub CIC & Drama Group are hosting their 'Time to Shine' Talent Show to help raise some funds for a Charity very close to our own hearts & they are on their final hunt to find their winner for 2026 and that winner could be YOU!

Whilst the talent show is open to any age they are particulary looking out for applications from some of the younger super stars of Derby & Beyond

Solo Singers, Duo Singers, Singing Groups, Choirs, Solo Dancers, Dance Groups, Mini Magicians in the Making, the littlest of people who can tell the funniest of jokes, maybe your little one's can play a Musical Instrument or have some fabulous Kick Boxing or Karate Moves... maybe you have a little poet who likes to write and read out their poems. Or maybe you have a super star Actor/Actress who likes to perform short monolouges from Theatre Plays (just like the one in Matilda the Musical!)

If YOU or somebody you know is a 'future star of tomorrow' in any which way then head on over to Tegan's Butterflies in Paradise Page and apply to enter the Talent Show TODAY (applications close THIS SUNDAY)

Thats a Wrap for TIF On Tour 2026! 💙

On Saturday our TIF Derby Superstars performed at their final gig of 2026 singing LOUD and PROUD and opening the MAIN STAGE at Derby Pride and what a truly magaical, enjoyable and funfilled gig it was! Yer again Sarah and the team made them all feel extremely welcome from the Tech team & the backstage crew to the amazing Presenter and other Guest Acts too!

Afterwards, many of our members decided to stay and look around at all the stalls with some havinf lots of fun on the fair ground rides and the Trampolines (Featured Photo of our youngest Member & TIFling Bessie having the BEST time bouncing around on the Bungie Tranpolines!) Some of our older members even learnt CPR and other life saving skills like how to administer and use an Epi Pen with thanks to the team from East Midlands Ambulance Service

Whilst The Invisible Friends Charity is recognised for its work in raising awareness of and supporting Children & young people living with an Invisible Disabilty & bringing our younger members of society 'together as ONE' by way of providing our Choir members with a variety of performance opportunities; we also love to see them flourish and grow within their personal lives too & Saturday was a fine example of that too!

These incredible bunch of Superstars (includimg Chloe & Jess who couldn't attend this gig) are now in full flow, intense but still super fun rehearsals for their biggest show of the year & the Charities biggest event of the year - The Pride of TIF 2026 & with only 4 weeks to go and 5 more rehearsals we are so very proud of them all foe their committment, hard work and determination in ensuring they give it their absolute all (and then some) on their special night!

We would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE Thank You to every single Events Organiser for inviting pur TIF Derby Superstars to coke along and perform at SO many events throughout this year & we hope we are blessed with being invited back to perform for you all again in 2027!

We cannot believe it is that time of year yet AGAIN when we begin to official countdown to The Invisible Friends Charities BIGGEST ANNUAL Fundraising Event/Concert & Awards Ceremony of the year - The Pride of TIF 2026!

Our TIF Derby Super Stars have been 'working their socks off' & putting their 'Hearts and Souls' into this years show & as ever they are going to light up the stage and 'SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND' & 'SING LOUD & PROUD' as we all 'come together as one' to celebrate & recognise their Hard Work, their Bravery, their Courage, their Talents, their Commitment, their Dedication & their Passion in doing their bit to encourage & to inspire other children & young people living with an Invisible Disability who are currently suffering in silence to make their voices be heard, to make their voices matter & to make their voices in helping to raise awareness of such conditions through the Power of Music whilst also highlighting the importance of Inclusivity & bringing our younger members of society 'together as one'

The Pride of TIF 2026 is offically a SELL OUT & thus we would like to thank each & everyone of you who have purchased your tickets for coming along from numerous parts of the country to show your support for our TIF Derby Superstars & for contining to support The Invisible Friends Charity (TIF) too

The Invisible Friends TIF Derby Choir are beyond excited to be singing at Derby Pride again this year! This is an event so close to our hearts as it unites and brings the City of Derby & beyond 'together as one' providing a family friendly funfilled safe place where everyone can embrace & be proud of being who they were born to be!

🌟💙 TIF Super Star Spotlight🌟💙

In today's TIF Super Star Spotlight wr bring to you a 'Sneeky Peak' of 1 of our other TIFlings Charlotte AKA 'Little C' who is 7 years old (VERY NEARLY 8!) Charlotte AKA 'Little C' had been a much loved, super cute, hilarious & well loved member od our TIF Derby Choir for about a year now & my goodness has she grown in SO many ways during such a short space of time on her TIF Journey.

Charlotte has a big brother and a big sister who are also members of our TIF Derby Choir & she so desperately wanted to become a member herself so much so that every week when she came with Mum to drop off and clect her Brother & Sister she kept saying 'Only 1 more biethday to go until I can join too!' Generally our TIFlings start their journey with TIF around the age of 8 but we do allow younger one's to have a trial session & if it is agreed all round that they are ready to begin their journey with TIF at a younger age we absolutley allow them to do so and Charlotte just so happens to be 1 of those TIFlings!

This bubbly bundle of pure joy, happiness, laughter & so muxh love to share with us all at TIF Derby & not only did she do herself proud taking on a MASSIVE role abd responsibility of Understudying ALL the other TIFlings Solo at our Gig last Thursday, she made her whole 'Chosen Family' Proud too! She even gained herself a very well deserved massive round of applause before having even finished singing her solo parts in 'Roar' too!

This little Pocket Rocket dares to DREAM BIG & whilst she prefers to sing songs she had a solo in, at such a young age she also understands and respects the importance of also singing LOUD and PROUD in all of the other Choir Songs too! And whatsmore, she has gone from needing regular extra 20 minute 'mini breaks' during rehearsals on a Friday evening to managing just having her breaks when the resr of the chour have theirs! To be able to maintain focus, pick up harmonies after being taught them just once or twice & be an active & committed member of our TIF Derby Choir at such a young age is admirable to say the least!

Little C we are SUPER PROUD of this performance & we are even more proud of how much you have grown both as the sassy, kind & supportive member od TIF Derby who had become a wonderful friend to us all & as the naturally talented but much more confident little singer you have become too!
