Hykeham Lions Hykeham Lions Club was established in 1989. The club is made up of like minded friendly people who like to give something back to the community. Interested???

The club is made up of like minded friendly people who have made a conscious decision to give something back to their community. The main objective of its members is to raise funds to support local charities, individuals and good causes. Hykeham Lions run and organise various fundraising events throughout the year, examples of which are Golf Days, Wine Tasting evenings (with a difference), Casino

nights, Easter Egg Raffles, Trolley dashes and at the end of the year they arrange for Santa to visit the streets of the local area. In addition to fund raising the members of the club also volunteer their services to assist in local projects which are for the benefit of the community. Projects such as the Excellent Aging, working with the local council and marshalling of local events. The Hykeham Lions Club hold many social events which include Barbecues, Formal Dinners, Pub Visits and bowling evenings all of which allows
friends and relatives to become involved in some of the club’s activities. . Hykeham Lions Club is but one of many clubs that form Lions Clubs International which is the world’s largest service club organisation. There are some 44,000 clubs within 200 countries who work together to answer the needs of local communities. Hykeham Lions meet twice monthly at the Rustons Sports and Social Club, Newark Road to discuss and arrange new and on-going projects. .

Despite injuring her knee during the run Natasha completed the race in 6 hours. She's still totting up the total raised, all her funds will be going to Kidney Research UK.

Hykeham Lions are proud to work in partnership with Lincolnshire Bombers 🏈🇺🇲

Through out the last year a few of our Lions members have helped with the running of their game days, in turn the bombers have helped with our Sleigh Runs ensuring that they could still go ahead.

As a thank you for their hard work we have donated to their club, A few of our members joined the Bombers for their Superbowl celebration on Sunday to hand over the cheque and to thank them in person

If you'd like to learn about the Bombers you can find more information on their website https://www.lincolnshirebombers.co.uk/

Hykeham lions have been shaking some buckets at Asda in north hykeham for Marie curie today (a fine cause) and will be back there tomorrow. Come say hi. We’ll be in the foyer.

Also there was the chance to see “Rebecca” the memorial tractor today. I’m sure you’ll agree she’s a beautiful machine restored for a fantastic cause.

Anyone see her?
