Taking pride in our shared public spaces is a huge part of that. For Geoff, Gisela, and the team at Incredible Edible Sileby , their project is all about collaboration. Starting strong in 2025 with support from the local council, and with a highly-visible site in the heart of the village, the group have a strong vision and plans for what the Incredible Edible model can offer to the 10,000 residents of Sileby. Despite some initial scepticism from villagers, and even a fire that destroyed the groups tools, their visions of harvest days, composting workshops and a burgeoning orchard in the park means the project is becoming a hub for building resilience and connecting with nature.

Mags didn’t see herself as a leader, but she knew she needed to take action on the climate emergency. In 2025 she set up Incredible Edible Perranporth as a demonstration of the power of small actions, and to help people change the way they view food and community.

"It really is for everybody… You don't have to volunteer to get some of this. It's just here. It's the people's veg, isn't it?"

Our new podcast series, called The Power Of Small Actions, will be released over the summer of 2026 and each one will feature one of our Incredible Edible groups, with the story of what drives them and how they are changing the world one seed at a time.
