Friends of Knowle Library We are a volunteer group supporting wider use of Knowle Library as a vital resource for our community

You are warmly invited to our forthcoming AGM at Knowle Library on Thurs 15th May at Knowle Library (5.00pm - 6.45pm). There will be tea and cake!

Everyone is welcome to come along, even if you haven't attended a meeting before; friends and neighbours are welcome too.

Leon Flower, Library Service Development Manager will be attending and our local Councillors Toby Wells and Cam Hayward have been invited too.

AGM: Agenda

Agenda (nominal timings):
5.00 – 5.15 pm - Meeting and greeting
5.15 - 5.30pm - Reports from Chair, Secretary and Treasurer
5.30 – 5.45pm - Electing the committee
5.45 – 6.30pm - Future of the Library (including events and activities) - in the context of Broadwalk redevelopment.
6.30 – 6.45pm - AOB (send items to: [email protected])

Join us for our AGM and get involved in making the most of Knowle Library.

You are warmly invited to our forthcoming AGM at Knowle Library on Thursday 15th May 2025, 5.00pm, with tea and cake!
Everyone is welcome to come along, even if you haven't attended a meeting before; friends and neighbours are welcome too. We will look back on our activities over the past year and plan for the future.

During the AGM we will elect a committee for the next 12 months. And we need more volunteers! No specific experience or qualifications are required. Just a little time and enthusiasm. The following positions are available.
- Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
If you would like to nominate yourself for any of these positions please notify us in advance by emailing [email protected]
(Suggestions for AOB can be submitted in the same way.)
We will hold a vote for any contested positions.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to nominate yourself for the Committee. We look forward to the group expanding, thriving and running more activities in the coming year!
