Aden from Degwariri sent us this message in Somali 💚

He told us that Loop has made it easier to share feedback and complaints using a simple short number.

Knowing that the channel works - and that people feel comfortable using it - is what keeps us going.

When community members report service concerns, rapid response is key. Loop helps organisations act fast.

When a coastal village in Jubam Somalia reported, through Talk to Loop, that their water well and solar system had stopped functioning, Talk to Loop referred the feedback to the NRC WASH team which responded with rapid field verification.

Their engineers noticed that the system display had entered sleep mode, which community members interpreted as technical failure. After providing operational guidance and clarification, the team confirmed the infrastructure was fully functional.

✅ Restored community confidence without major repairs
✅ Shifted focus from service concerns to development priorities
✅ Demonstrated the value of timely feedback verification

This case shows how effective feedback mechanisms can improve accountability, strengthen trust, rapid response and support more sustainable program outcomes.
