it is with regret this CIC is closing we have tried to get new directors to take the CIC forward to new directions with no success. Funding has always been an issue for us with few volunteers and it’s the time now to close the CIC. There is now in Salisbury a fantastic youth provision which in time will lead to a greater LGBTQ+ presence.

Thanks for the memories and fun good luck in 2026.

The Salisbury Pride team has tried really hard to keep going in hopes of having another big event. Sadly we need to grow a committee to develop fundraising ideas and run events without this help the CIC will close.

We have the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Salisbury 800th Anniversary celebrations in 2027.

We have been asked if we want to take part and want the local LGBT+ community involved in this.

Are there any volunteers who starting ASAP would like to drive this opportunity with fundraising and ideas. Our team is very small and our directors want new ideas to take Salisbury Pride forward or take it on completely. If this appeals to you please get in touch [email protected].

Today is , a day we remember and honour all those people in the trans+ community who have lost their lives.

Coming at the end of another difficult year for the trans and non-binary community in the UK, we wish everyone observing TDOR a peaceful day, and we stand in solidarity with you.

With the recent changes to X's ToS, we have made the decision to move away from posting on this platform. Many in the LGBT+ sector feel that X is no longer a safe space for our communities.

Our X account will remain active and we will occasionally post there, however our main focus will now be on Bluesky.
