HEROES+ @ St. Gerard’s 🎉

This week our young people from St. Gerard’s Special School took the lead in planning the final weeks of the project. As a group, we explored options and chose our upcoming residential, sharing ideas and making decisions together 🗺️

We also focused on communication and teamwork through a range of group challenges and games 🤝

It was great to see everyone contributing, supporting each other and helping shape how the project will finish over the next few weeks 🙌

HEROES+ St. Gerard’s Special School – Knowing Our Rights ⚖️

Jason and Tara Grace from the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission joined us today to talk about our rights and what they mean in everyday life.

The group got stuck in, asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning how to speak up 🗣️ and get support when it matters 🙌

Huge thanks to Jason and Tara Grace for giving our young people the confidence and knowledge to understand and stand up for their rights.
