⛰️ Pen-y-ghent Loop from Horton in Ribblesdale
A tough but rewarding 5.9-mile climb with steep sections and classic Yorkshire Dales scenery. Strong winds on the summit, but the panoramic views made every step worth it. One of the best short mountain walks in the Dales.

A fantastic 4.5-mile walk with a steep climb and rewarding summit views. Cat Bells never disappoints, with stunning panoramas over Derwent Water and the surrounding fells. A classic Lake District route worth every step.

A solid 6.2-mile walk through woodland trails and dramatic rock formations. Highlights include the narrow chasm of Lud’s Church and peaceful stretches along the River Dane. Steady climbs but well worth it.

An 8-mile loop from Midhopestones on a very foggy day — moody woodland trails, quiet reservoir paths, and only brief glimpses of the views. Still a great walk.

A solid 9-mile adventure from Pateley Bridge — quirky rock formations, quiet village lanes, and plenty of ups and downs. A long one, but a brilliant one!
