Alcohol hits differently in the heat, and it can catch you off guard faster than you think. Keep these tips in mind this summer and look out for the people around you too!

💛 Stay safe, stay hydrated, and enjoy the sunshine responsibly.

We provided ambulance and/or responder cover at the following events

- concert in Armagh City
- Belfast City Marathon
- Fools festival in Belfast
- May Day Moto X event at Seaforde for Mourne Motorcycle Club Ltd working alongside our good friends St John Ambulance NI - Banbridge St John Ambulance NI - Southern District

We had volunteers who also travelled up to North West 200 to provide ambulance and emergency responder cover over the 3 days working alongside MCUI Medical Team and M.C.U.I - U.C Marshals Association and on the Saturday 2 volunteers provided cycle response cover.

Thank you to each and everyone of our amazing volunteers for covering all these events - some had as early a start as 3am one morning. Thank you for all you do.🥰🥰

We have been a little quiet on our page since Christmas so here's a little update of a few things we've been attending.

-2 volunteers travelled to London to provide cover on NYE.

- Few volunteers have been providing cover at Night Time Economy alongside Search + Rescue in Belfast

- ambulance and first aid cover at Newry Special Olympics alongside St John Ambulance NI - Banbridge.

We also attended the Annual Service of Commemoration & Rededication and Presentation of Awards Ceremony of The Commandery of Ards of the Order of St John in Banbridge recently. Askey received his first bar to his service medal and Alison received her third bar to her service medal and were presented by the Knight Commander. Gary received his service medal also recently but sadly was unable to attend a ceremony. Well done to all on their years of service.

As events will soon start up again for the season ahead we look forward to seeing you out and about. If you see us at an event , call over and say hello and find out more about volunteering 😊
