This is good news. As someone who struggles to find sandwiches on the go very pleased to see another supermarket offering an option and including it in their meal deal.
Probably the best GF sandwich I have found is done by M&S but I have never seen it in their meal deal which makes it expensive. Tesco include the two they do and the price is the same as standard meal deals.

Lunch on the go just got easier… Sainsbury’s is relaunching its gluten free sandwiches!

The new Egg & Cress and Chicken Mayo sandwiches will be available in selected Sainsbury's Locals and Supermarkets nationwide from today, and can be found in the food to go chillers. Both are available as part of the £3.50 Meal Deal.
