Today we had a table at Callington rally and M0BHG, 2E0INQ and M0WMB manned the table and was very successful.
G0AKH and 2E0TBH came along and offered support.
We had some great chats, especially with Nigel and James who had tables very close to us.

It was a very well organised rally so thankyou Callington.

Mark M0WMB.

Last night we had a great talk about his radio life with plenty if history by John Tozer.

Filling this some have thought what can we do for the future if radio.

There are thoughts of a Saltash radio rally, this rally is to get people to get back their interest into radio rather than making money. We just need to get some to have tables, a venue and a time.
Thoughts so far (this could change) venue Chaddlewood farm community centre.
Table price £7.50
Entry £2
Coffee/tea just a £1

Thoughts please below.

Saturday 13th September 2025 Mark M0WMB, Rika (M0WMB XYL) and Marc 2E0INQ put on an event at St Ive Parish Church for Churches on the Air.
Paul G0FSD visited us.
They worked 79 different stations (see maps), 7-8 of these were other churches.
We worked Brian M0BHG from the club too.

The weather on the day was kind, outside was warmer than inside.
Mark, Rika and Marc set off very early in the morning with all the gear M0WMB got together from his collection of radios the day before.
We used a aerial that belonged to Nick G7IZR who recently dies to young from cancer, it was set up from the church tower and was tuned to 40,20 and 10m.
They had everything set up by 9am so they took this opportunity to fly Marks drone to make a utube later. (https://youtube.com/?si=4HfwZFhgxPwXT5YG).
There will be two videos made, one of the activation and one made of the church.
The day was very successful and enjoyable, radio was a extra bonus.
We will be back next year, the church is all booked.
