Morning all

1st Bourton on the Water Scout Group - Duck Race on Saturday 6th September 2025

Bourton Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are delighted to be organising Duck Racing on the Village Green on Saturday 6th September 2025, just after the kids return to school. The day will be filled with fun activities to include duck races, a tombola, Scout Group demos and Beavers running a ‘Splat the Rat’ fun again for all the family!

Our participation at this event raises valuable funds for the Scout Group and we would be extremely grateful for your help and donations.

Parents, please sign up with Leaders to help with:

10.00 Event begins
16.00 Event finishes

The Scout group requires parents to be present, with a minimum of 1 uniformed leader at all times. However, the more parents’ that can support, it will enable us to structure smaller support sessions.

Ahead of the Summer Break, please could we ask all parents for Tombola donations, to include any long expiry gifts/ wine/ business gift vouchers, as examples. Please bring donations along to Baden Powell Hall pack/colony meetings and leaders will arrange safe storage until the event in early September.
