Step into the Doctor Who Zone at Castle Leisure Centre this Bury BID Comic Con 2026 and meet an incredible line-up from across the Whoniverse 🚀

We’re thrilled to welcome Paul McGann (Doctor Who), alongside special guests including Clem So, Reecey Pontiff, Martin Ballantyne, Martin Geraghty and the Cutaway Comics team, bringing stories, artwork and behind-the-scenes insight from across the world of Doctor Who and beyond.

Expect iconic moments, immersive displays and a celebration of one of Britain’s most loved sci-fi universes, right in the heart of Bury town centre. Just avoid getting exterminated by the daleks😄

🎭 COSPLAY ZONE – THE MET IS CALLING!

Get ready to step into the spotlight at Bury BID Comic Con 2026’s Cosplay Zone at The Met - where creativity, costume and fandom come to life! ✨

Whether you’re crafting your own character or cheering from the crowd, this is one of the biggest highlights of the day - but you MUST register to take part or attend the competitions (spaces are limited and entry is free).

🏆 Cosplay Competition Schedule:

🚪Doors open: 3pm

👶 Children’s Competition
🕒 3:30pm

🧑‍🎤 Teens and Adult Competition
🕓 4:30pm

Parents and spectators wishing to watch the competition will also need to register for a spectator ticket, so make sure you secure your place in advance.

✨ Expect creativity, costumes, character transformations and incredible cosplay talent from across the region.

On Sunday 28 June 2026, the streets and venues of Bury transform into a FREE, immersive pop culture experience - packed with cosplay, comics, sci-fi, movie legends, dinosaurs, traders, workshops and more across multiple themed zones.

From iconic film vehicles and roaming characters to hands-on family activities and special guest appearances, this is a full town centre takeover designed for all ages.

✨ Delivered by Bury BID, in partnership with local venues, event partners and the support and funding of Bury town centre businesses. We're working together to bring a major free event to the heart of the town where pop culture, connection and community come together.
