At some point, keeping other people happy may have helped you feel safer, accepted or less at risk of conflict or rejection. 🌿

But over time, that same protective response can leave you saying yes when you mean no, putting your needs aside and experiencing the conflict within yourself instead.

Healing doesn’t mean judging the way you learnt to cope. It’s about understanding why it was needed and recognising when it’s no longer serving you. 🤍

What once kept you safe doesn’t have to run your life forever.

People pleasing can often look like simply being kind, helpful or easy-going, but sometimes there’s more happening underneath. 🌿

You might say yes when you want to say no, struggle to speak up, overthink how others might react or automatically put their needs before your own.

These patterns may have developed because, at some point, keeping other people happy felt safer than risking conflict, rejection or judgement.

The aim isn’t to judge those responses or suddenly stop caring about others. It’s to understand why they’re there, notice when they’re happening, and begin creating more choice in how you respond. 🤍

A client sent me this video recently, and it reminded me so much of something I see in my work with clients. 🌿

People pleasing is often a way of avoiding conflict, but that doesn’t mean the conflict disappears.

Instead of experiencing conflict with someone else, you can end up experiencing it within yourself. You say yes when you want to say no, prioritise someone else’s needs over your own, or stay quiet to keep the peace, while internally feeling uncomfortable, frustrated or overwhelmed.

Sometimes the work isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about understanding why keeping others happy has felt safer than honouring yourself. 🤍

Thinking about therapy but feeling unsure about taking that first step is completely understandable. That’s why I offer a free introduction call before you decide whether you’d like to work together. 🌿

It’s simply a relaxed conversation where you can tell me a little about what’s going on for you, learn more about my approach, ask any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you.

You don’t need to prepare anything, have the right words, or know exactly what you want to work on.

No pressure and no commitment. Just a conversation. 🤍

If you would like an introduction, the link to book on is in my bio.

There isn’t one specific reason that brings someone to therapy.

You might be feeling overwhelmed or finding it difficult to regulate. You might notice the same patterns showing up again and again, be carrying experiences from your past, or simply feel that something is keeping you stuck.

Sometimes, you might not even be able to put into words what you need, you just know that you’d like some support. 🌿

Therapy can give you the space to explore what’s happening, understand yourself and your nervous system more deeply, process emotions and experiences, and begin making changes at a pace that feels right for you. 🤍

If you're wondering whether working together could be right for you, you can book in a free introduction via the link in my bio.

You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out for support.

Therapy can also be a space to understand yourself more deeply, process experiences that are still affecting you, recognise patterns and learn how to support your nervous system. 🌿

If you’re curious about whether therapy with me could be right for you, you can complete the short form via the link to arrange a free introduction call.

I currently have space to welcome a few new clients. 🌿

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, this could be a good time to reach out.

My approach brings together somatic therapy, trauma processing, nervous system regulation and emotional processing, with support tailored to you and your individual needs.

You don’t need to know exactly what you need or where to begin. We can start with a free introduction call, a relaxed space to talk about what’s going on for you, ask any questions and see whether working together feels right. 🤍

✨ Interested in an intro? Complete this short form and I'll be in touch.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you might be wondering what actually happens once you reach out?

We start with a free introduction call, a chance to meet Tasha, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and ask any questions you might have. 🌿

If you decide you’d like to move forward, you’ll book your sessions and complete your forms before having an intake session, where we can explore your experiences, history and what you’d like support with in more depth.

From there, therapy is an ongoing process that moves at your pace, with space to process, understand, regulate, heal and gradually integrate what you learn into everyday life. 🤍

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin.

✨ Interested in starting? Book on your intro call, link in bio.

Therapy isn’t only about what happens within the therapy room, an important part of healing is learning how to integrate what you’ve discovered into everyday life. 🌿

Through therapy, we can process emotions and trauma, understand patterns, work with the body and build greater nervous system regulation.

As the work progresses, coaching can support the integration stage, taking that awareness and turning it into practical changes, supportive routines and tools you can use in your day-to-day life.

It’s about practising what you’ve learnt, building confidence in your ability to regulate and gradually creating changes that feel sustainable for you. 🤍

Therapy and coaching can both support change, but the focus can be quite different.

In therapy, we may work more deeply with what’s happening beneath the surface, using somatic therapy to connect with the body, process emotions and trauma, understand patterns and support nervous system regulation. 🌿

Coaching tends to focus more on where you are now and where you’d like to go, creating clarity around your goals, building confidence and taking practical steps forward.

Neither has to exist completely separately, either. Sometimes understanding and processing what’s been can help create space for where you want to go next. 🤍
