Massive thanks to Keep Wales Tidy - South East and of course to our wonderful friends from Envirofach, for helping us launch our Litter Picking Hub at Re:Make Valleys, in the pouring rain yesterday afternoon.
The rain didn't stop volunteers from the Rhondda Fach yesterday to come along and support the launch of a new litter hub at Re:Make Valleys in Maerdy! 💚♻️👏 A big thank you to members of local Community Group Envirofach and to Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Street care Team for collecting the red bags. ☺️
You don't have to go far to be a litter picking hero!😍
Did you know that there are Litter Picking Hubs all over Wales making it easy for anyone to borrow free litter picking equipment?
They could be in
✅The local library
✅Community centre
✅Shop or even a local café
Whether you're heading out for a walk, meeting friends or just have half hour to spare, why not borrow equipment while you’re out! 😎
Every bag of litter collected helps make your local area cleaner, safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
