Our local Down's Syndrome Support Group members are meeting at the Nevis Centre for a catch up in the holidays. If you know of anyone local, either a parent/carer or individual with Down's Syndrome, who would like to come along please mention our group Thursday 10-1130.

One of our local families, the Maclean's, feature in this week's Oban Times with their twin boys and older son. A wee bit about our new Chairperson too. ☺️

Our front page this week: meet Oban's Maclean family, whose identical twin brothers Fraser and Innes are officially ’two in a million.’ The boys were both born with Down's Syndrome, and in honour of World Down's Syndrome awareness day this weekend, their parents will be running a 5k!

Join us at Atlantis Leisure for exclusive use of both soft play for 0-16yrs from 11-12 and adults can enjoy a blether and maybe food at the Café.

This is our first cuppa session of the year and it’s a good one! Come along to hear all about the brilliant reading scheme, Every Cherry which works very well for learners with Down’s Syndrome.

Morning all, I am Debbie, your family support officer, I’m based in Perth and so I only get to Oban once or twice a year. I’m heading up today to visit schools and families. I will be at the Rockfield centre from 12 till 1 today if you would like to pop in and say hi or have any thing you would like to discuss. 🙏
