ሰላም ዋዕሮታት ከመይ ቐኒና። ሕጉስ ዝኾነ ሶኒ ክኮነልና እና ተመነኹ። ንሎሚ ኣብዛ ናይ ሶኒ ኣታባባዒት መደብና ብዛዕባ ‘ሓይሊ ኣብ ገዛእ ርእስኻ ምትእምማን’ እየ ሒዘልክን መጺየ ዘለኹ።
ሓይሊ ኣብ ገዛእ ርእስኺ ምትእምማን መፍትሕ ናይ ኩሉ መንገድኺ ናብ ዓወት እዩ። ኣብ ርእስኺ ምትእምማን ደፋኢ ሓይሊ እዩ። ዓወት እምበር ውድቐት ኣይትሕሰቢ። ኣብ ኩሉ ኩነታት ሂወትኪ ኣብ ስራሕኪ፡ ኣብ ገዛኺ፡ ኣብ ትምህርትኺ ነቲ ናይ ውድቐት ኣተሓሳስባኺ ናብ ናይ ዓወት ኣተሓሳስባ ተክእዮ። ኣተሓሳስባኺ ዓቢ ጽልዋ ኣለዎ ኣብ ናይ ገዛእ ርእስኺ እምነት። ስለዚ ሓይሊ ናይ ገዛእ ርእስኺ እምነት ንኸተዕብይ፡ ኩሉ ነገር ክኸውን ይከኣል እዩ ዝብል እምነትን ከተማዕብሊ ኣለኪ።
ካብቲ ንስኺ ትሓስብያ ንላዕሊ ምዃንኪ ኩሉ ግዜ ንገዛእ ርእስኺ ኣዘኻኽርያ። እዛ ትስዕብ ተገዲስኪ ኣንብብያ። ዕዉታት ሰባት ኣመና ሓይሊ፡ ወይ ካባኺ ንላዕሊ ዝዓበየ ሓንጎል ስለ ዘለዎም ኣይኮኑን ዝዕወቱ። ልክዕ ከማኺ ኩነታት ኣነባብራ፡ ማዕረኺ ዓቐን ሓንጎል ኣለዎም። እንታይ ደኣ ዕውታት ዝኾኑ? ከምቲ ኣቀዲመ ዝበልኩዎ ሰባት ዕውታት ዝኾኑ ብቑዕ ዝኾነ ዓቢ ሓሳባትን ኣብ ገዛእ ርእሶም ምትእምማንን ስለ ዘለዎም እዮም። ዓወት ብዕድል ዘይኮስ ኣብ ናይ ገዛእ ርእስኺ ምትእምማንን ኣብ ኣተሓሳስባኽን እዩ ዝርከብ።
ዓቢ ነገር ከምእትገብሪ እመኒ፡ መኽንያቱ ዓቐን ናይ ዓወትኺ፡ ኣብቲ ዓቐን ናይ እምነትኺ ስለ ዝምርኮስ። ዓቢ ሕሰቢ፡ ዓበይቲ ነገራት ከኣ ክትሓፍሲ ኢኺ። ንእሽተይ ምስ ትሓስቢ ከኣ ንእሽተይ ትረክቢ ኢኺ። ዓቢ ሕልምታትን ሓሳባትን ይሃልውኪ።

Wild Lions Save Kidnapped Girl in Ethiopia 🚨🦁

In a widely reported 2005 case in rural Ethiopia, a 12-year-old girl was kidnapped by men who intended to force her into marriage. She had been missing for almost a week, leaving her family heartbroken and fearing the worst.

When police finally found her near Bita Genet in the southwestern highlands, they were stunned by what they saw: three wild lions standing around the frightened girl. According to Ethiopian authorities, the lions had chased off her abductors and stayed with her until the police arrived.

The animals showed no aggression toward the child. Instead, they appeared to guard her quietly, almost like protectors. After officers reached the scene, the lions calmly walked back into the wilderness.

Experts have suggested that the girl’s cries might have sounded like a lion cub in distress, triggering an instinct to protect. Whatever the reason, the incident has inspired awe across Ethiopia and beyond, serving as a powerful reminder that compassion and protection can emerge from the most unexpected places — even the wild.

In Ethiopian 🇪🇹 and Eritrean 🇪🇷 culture, women do not take their husband’s last name after marriage. Instead, they continue using their own name, which is traditionally made up of their first name followed by their father’s name a practice that applies to everyone, not just women.

This naming system reflects deep respect for family heritage and identity, as surnames are not passed down through generations in the same way as in Western cultures. Rather than adopting the husband’s name, both men and women are universally addressed by their given (first) name, with the father’s name serving as a form of identification.

It’s a unique tradition that highlights the importance of lineage, individuality, and cultural pride in Ethiopian and Eritrean societies.

Sewit Ahderom Appointed as Mastercard Foundation CEO, First Woman to Lead Global Philanthropy

The Mastercard Foundation has named Sewit Ahderom as its next President and CEO, making her the first woman to lead one of the world’s largest philanthropic organizations. Sewit, a seasoned technology executive and co-founder of Gro Intelligence, will assume the role on January 1, 2026, succeeding Reeta Roy.

Currently serving on the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Sewit brings extensive experience in technology, finance, and African development. Her background includes leadership roles at Helios Investment Partners , Citigroup Alternative Investments LLC banking division, and the Aga Khan Development Network.

Sewit expressed honor in serving the Foundation’s mission, stating she will build on Roy’s legacy of partnership and purpose. She emphasized her commitment to listening to young people, staff, and partners to drive meaningful change across Africa and Indigenous communities in Canada.

🌍💡 Meet Bohlale Mphahlele, a brilliant 16-year-old from Limpopo, South Africa. She invented a smart earpiece designed to help battle gender-based violence.

✨ The device looks like an earring, but with the press of a hidden button it snaps a photo of an attacker, shares the victim’s live GPS location, and alerts emergency contacts (with potential to link to police).

This was showcased at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists, and Bohlale is working to bring it from prototype to real-world use.

Such an inspiring example of how young innovators are using technology to protect lives and create safer communities. 💪💜
