Carrying on the good work of its predecessor although no longer based in Ulverston’ s old library , the Scrap Store has a new management committee and will continue to provide clean, safe scrap materials that can be used by schools, community groups, workshop leaders, Individuals and many others for their projects. Ulverston Scrap Store Plus provides a huge variety of recycled materials for arts a

nd crafts sessions, and is looking to work with schools, community organisations and local events in South Cumbria. We also have a roster of local artists to devise and deliver workshops and plans to deliver regular sessions in a variety of venues.

News!!! The 'scrap emerges from its secret underground lair on July 11th and will be on Ulverston Market during "Furness TraditionFolkfest alongside our good friends from arts and crafters Marras Nook . We have just taken delivery of a load of good quality wool and acrylics ( you'll know), lovely stuff, two bags full, in great colours, and two boxes of buttons , tapes, cottons, tools and large remnants, not "Scrap" at all really.....a right treasure trove for recycling and distributing, thanks to our friends Barbara and Amy. So give us a shout, and/or come to the stall on the 11th!
