East Howdon Community Centre

East Howdon Community Centre Line dancing, bingo, zumba, Parent & Toddler Group, Gardening Group and a Women's group. The centre has an IT suite and a community garden.

Our aims and objectives are:
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of East Howdon and the neighbourhood by associating with residents, the local authority and other statutory and voluntary organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving conditions of life

. EHCA strives to provide services that meet the identified needs of all residents living in East Howdon (regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age or religious belief). We manage a community centre which provides a range of locally led centre based initiatives that have been developed as a direct response to identified needs within our community, e.g. We hold seasonal events, regular community lunches, a Friday Breakfast Club and host a number of meetings and resident consultations.
